PART SEVEN

Noah was a farmer, Nimrod was a king. Noah worked to produce food for himself and his family, Nimrod produced nothing and fed himself by taking what other people had produced. Noah was a producer, Nimrod was a parasite.

So who is more valuable to the world? A labourer tilling a field, or a king on a throne?

Well a labourer can live without a king on a throne, but a king can't live without a labourer tilling a field. So clearly and logically, a labourer is far more important to the world than a king.

But a king is strong, and has weapons to subdue a labourer, so a king can officially declare the lie that a king is more important than a labourer.

And that lie, which in our era first began in Satan's Cushite kingdom, has ruled the earth since the deluge.  Because truth is never a match for armed liars.

The Nimrods of the earth - the ambitious of the earth, have ever ruled the meek - the ordinary people of the earth.  And will go on doing so for the next very few years, until the ambitious are destroyed in an upheaval. A new world will begin without them, and the meek will at last live in the freedom and peace which God intended for them. As Micah put it:

“But everyone shall sit under their vine and under their fig tree, And none will make them fearful;” (Micah 4:4)

But that is in the future. The very near future, but not yet.

These are the closing days of Satan's second period of running the earth. There is one more period of evil after this one.

The first period of Satan's rule ended in the destruction of the humans under his regime and the earth being flooded.

This present second period of his rule will also result in the destruction of a large part of the human population, but it will also see Satan being prevented from any further interference on earth for a thousand years.

The third period is a long way in the future. That period will be briefer, but will again result in devastation. It will also be Satan's final chance at imposing evil on the earth, and will end, again, in failure. Failure is what Satan and his tools do best.

We are living in the last days of the last generation of this era of Satan's rule over the earth. Freedom is not far off. As Paul said:

“the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.” (Romans 8:21)

But there are difficult times yet to endure before liberty.  Because Satan is thrashing out in frantic frustration that his time of controlling and manipulating humans is almost over.

Since being banished to the earth, as described in Revelation 12, Satan has made several failed attempts at world domination. We are now in the early days of his final attempt in this era.

The accounts of those failed attempts at world domination were written down by Satan's tools. Because Satan is in charge of the planet, and decides what gets into human history books. So we have a situation in which the liar-in-chief of the planet decides what people will know of the past. And one of the rules of writing history has always been to remove any mention of Satan himself.

Prominent human leaders can be blamed for wars, for disastrous actions and events, but mention of the dark force behind the human leaders is forbidden.  A group or an organisation or a race can be safely blamed for atrocious actions, but never the motivating evil behind them.

Because Satan hides himself in darkness and tells the history books to blame his puppets.  The puppets are to blame, of course, because they know what they are doing, but the real blame belongs to the sick evil behind the puppets, driving them to destroy God's creation.

Satan must hide himself in lies, or his regimes would fall. If humans could see Satan behind every wrong action of human leaders, they would quickly demand different leaders. They would demand leaders who did not sell themselves to evil. And Satan's destructive course would come to an abrupt halt.

If Satan did not cower in the dark, humans could see that the earth is a battleground between mighty supernatural beings. Between powerful opposing forces of good and evil. And if humans could see the forces of good and evil in combat over them, they would naturally choose what benefits them - the forces of good. If Satan's existence, and his deadly motives, were obvious to people, his human tools could never rise to power.

So Satan must lie and deceive, and conceal himself, in order to maintain his control over people. He would still be in charge of the planet even if people could see him, but he would have to look on in impotent frustration as humans ignored him, and got on with their lives in peace and prosperity. Despite him and without him.
